The Brunswick connection to Kelly gang member Steve Hart has been traced back to his younger sister Rachel.
Rachel Lloyd (nee Hart) owned a house on the Brunswick/Moonee Ponds border from about 1930-1948 and was a resident there during the time of Brunswick’s Centennial celebrations in 1939.

Dear oh dear, sounds as if they were a bit desperate for display material. No disrespect to Steve Hart, but the inclusion of his portrait in a local history display on the basis that a sibling lived there fifty years after his death seems to be drawing a long bow.Or perhaps the display included historic stuff as well as historic stuff pertaining to Brunswick.
