My copy of Doug Morrissey's "Ned Kelly: A Lawless Life" arrived today from Amazon (I even selected expedited shipping to get it even quicker which is not like the bargain hunter I usually am!). Not sure if I will be doing a review at some point or will let others handle that, but did want to list the table of contents which might help others to know what to expect and to help decide if they want to take the purchase plunge. Hey, when a chapter about Stringybark Creek is entitled "Murdering Police" and a chapter about the siege of Glenrowan is entitled "Operation Massacre" I think you get an idea of what the main thrust of the book is, which comes as no surprise. Still, I think many pro-Kelly people will be keen to read this. Even if a book is pro or anti Kelly I like to get the word out on it as it helps prompt discussion and any discussion about Ned Kelly and the Kelly Gang can lead to further insights and understanding (and at times further misunderstandings) on both sides. Still, no matter what is said either pro or con, Ned Kelly's name lives on!
