The Weekly Times of February 24, 2012 has an article called "Ned Search Ends With Murphy." The article starts out with some interesting reminiscences from the outgoing Ned Kelly reenactor Michael Beattie. The new "Ned," who will debut at the Beechworth Ned Kelly Weekend in November, is an Irishman named John Murphy.
