In an article from February 16, 2012 entitled "Jerilderie Letter Event" there was this bit regarding the Jerilderie Letter Event held on Feb 12:
...The event had a modified program this year, with a play replacing the traditional raid re-enactment and three days of activities compressed into one action-packed day.
About 200 people watched the premiere of Ned Kelly Came By, in the Jerilderie Civic Centre on Saturday afternoon.
The play was written, produced and performed by Christine Middleton, who was accompanied by Matiss Schubert.
Jerilderie Shire Council general manager Craig Moffitt said the re-enactment was cancelled this year due to difficulty in getting the highway closed for public safety.
However, he said the play was a ‘‘well-received’’ replacement.
‘‘It was very popular,’’ he said.
‘‘It was quite a different style (to the re-enactment)....

Ok, I had wondered if if was going to be a new play put on or was it going to be the one on Mrs Kelly that Ms Middleton had previously put on elsewhere. Maybe everyone should keep an eye open in case she tours this play and/or the other one around Australia.
